Not Your Abuelita's Blanket - Crochet Pattern

Great blanket. Easy to follow instructions.

It’s a well-written pattern, and I’ve already completed four squares! I am using the “Forever Fleece” because I like it better than other bulky yarns I’ve tried. I hope to finish it by the fall to give to my grandson. Thank you for an amazing pattern with clear instructions!

I literally bought this pattern so fast because I fell in love with the ease of making squares on my own time visiting my mom in the hospital and this color palette for fall! I watched the YouTube video to help as it was my first time trying crochet. It was hard at first figuring out a magic ring but it is second nature now and I'm nearly done with my squares! This pattern is so easy to read (even for me who has never read one). Very beginner friendly. TIP: if you are a super beginner like me - slow down the playback speed of the video of the first square walkthrough that she does, it helps a ton! Love the detailed explanations and step-by-step walktrhough. I can't wait to finish my blanket soon and try out another pattern.
