This is NOT a finished product; it's a digital download only.
You will receive a PDF file with step-by-step instructions on how to make the Big Patchwork Cardigan.
Sizes: You will find instructions on how to make sizes from XS to 4XL.
Fit: This Cardigan has 5" of positive ease and it's considered Oversized. It does have a slightly dropped shoulders look.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: Hue+Me by Lion Brand Yarn or any Category 5 Bulky weight yarn.
Needles: 8 mm with a 48" cable or longer.
Construction: The Big Patchwork Cardigan is worked in simple sections. You’ll start with the bottom ribbing, then knit up the back panel, using the intarsia method to create the patchwork squares. At the shoulders, the work is divided into three parts, the two front panels and the neckline, and each front panel is worked downward.
The sleeves are picked up and worked flat with decreases, and the collar is created by picking up stitches along both fronts panels and the back neckline. The cardigan is then seamed together and finished with a light wash/block to relax the stitches and even out the fabric.
